Gross carton weights include the products and the shipping carton. They are indicative and may vary by ±5% due to production tolerances and variations in materials, batches, suppliers and packaging. The actual measured weight should be used in transport documents. The empty-carton weight used for calculations is 0.270 kg for the large carton and 0.160 kg for the small carton.
Choosing a tape

VH — external corners and areas requiring greater resistance to wear and impact
VH is primarily intended for external corners. Its greater thickness improves resistance to mechanical damage; when needed, it can also be used on internal corners and for repairs.
It is a composite tape, not a substitute for a metal corner bead in areas with a very high risk of impact, such as public buildings, hospitals or childcare facilities. The final choice depends on the room’s intended use, the expected level of wear and impact, and the budget.
QH — internal corners, joints and repairs
QH is primarily intended for internal corners and drywall joints. It is also suitable for repairing cracks and damaged sections of drywall.
Severely uneven corners
V, VH, Q and QH tapes are not intended to fully straighten severely uneven corners. In this situation, it is better to install a steel or aluminium corner bead first.
When better skim-coat adhesion is required, or to reduce the risk of the metal showing through after impact, V, VH, Q or QH tape can be applied over a previously installed steel or aluminium corner bead.
H series — greater surface resistance
VH and QH have a reinforced H-series top layer that improves abrasion resistance during installation, including when using a metal taping knife.
Installation instructions
Step-by-step installation instructions
Before use, keep the tape at room temperature for at least 12 hours.
- Cut the tape to the required length.
- Fold it to the required angle along the perforation (V, VH, Q and QH).
- Apply a thin layer of jointing compound to the installation area (the tape requires neither adhesive nor soaking).
- Embed the tape in the fresh jointing compound.
- Smooth the tape with a taping knife, removing air bubbles and excess compound.
- Apply a thin coat of jointing compound over the tape and leave it to dry.
- Sand the dry surface.
- If required, apply another thin coat of jointing compound, allow it to dry and sand the surface again.
