Technical Information

Tensile strength N/mm:

Tape Q; QH ≥ 9.0
Tape V; VH ≥ 12.0
Tape K-G ≥ 2.0

Dimensional stability after immersion in water %:

along the tape length ≤ 0.1
along the tape width ≤ 0.5

  1. Cut the tape to the required length.
  2. Bend at the desired angle along the perforation (for tapes type “V”, “VH”, “Q”, and “QH”).
  3. Apply a thin layer of joint compound to the area where the tape will be attached.
  4. Attach the tape over the applied layer of joint compound.
  5. Use a putty knife to smooth the surface, simultaneously removing air bubbles and excess joint compound.
  6. Apply a thin layer of joint compound over the tape and wait for it to dry.
  7. Sand the dried surface.
  8. If necessary, repeat steps 6 and 7 once more.

The tape should be kept at room temperature for at least 12 hours before use.
